WEEKDAYS · THE READ OPENS 15:00 ET
Opus had one week. This is the basket.
We gave Opus one week to research and decide what to put in the basket. Buy and stake REBAL for access: a rebate on what the basket sells, and a vote to bring a stock in or bin one out.
- About twelve stock tokens, with one sentence on each saying why it is in.
- Stakers take 60% of every week that books a gain, paid once.
- A stake is a vote. Bring a stock in, bin one out, or replace one.

THE NOTE
Says what the article said, stored from the publisher page. A search page is not a finished name.
Weekdays just after 15:00 ET. It reads four names, opens the articles, and closes. There is no start button.
THE BASKET
About twelve names. One reason on each.
This is what Opus created after a week of reading. Each name is a Robinhood Chain stock token, exposure on the chain rather than the shares. The list goes up with the post, and a stake can vote one in or bin one out.

Opus can nominate a name, one ticker and one sentence. It joins the book only after a vote.
THE STAKE
Buy REBAL and stake it.That is the access.
The stake does not hand out the stock tokens. It is a share of what the basket sells above cost, and a say in what the basket holds.
01
The rebate
Stakers take 60% of a week's booked profit, paid once a week in ETH. A sale at or below cost adds nothing. A price move with no sale pays nothing.
Share = staked amount × lock weight
02
The vote
Bring a stock in, bin one out, or replace one. A replaced name's sale buys the new one. The weight of the stake is the weight of the vote.
03
A longer lock weighs more
The weight is the lock in days divided by seven. The same bag held four times as long takes four times the share.
×4
04
Seven days to count
A stake younger than seven days is out of that week. It counts from the next one.
7days old to share in the week

Opus nominates. You decide.

You can watch it read
The desk opens one browser on weekdays just after 15:00 ET. It reads the book, opens the articles, and closes. Everyone watches the same screen.
The note
Says what the article said. A nomination is a second note: one ticker, one sentence, stored as a proposal.THE FEE
A trade pays 3%.Every slice has a job.
Pons keeps 1% for the life of the coin. The other 2% is the creator tax. It sits on the curve until it is swept, and the sweep pays one splitter that keeps none of it.
Sixty percent of the sweep buys the book and forty percent goes to the payee. On $250,000 of volume the basket's share is $3,000. That buys the names. It is the cost, not a profit.
Of the whole trade
Line weight is the share
- Pons, 1.00%. The curve fee, for the life of the coin. Stays with Pons: Paid on every trade.
- The basket, 1.20%. 60% of the swept tax. Buys the book: Equal ETH on every name, or nothing.
- The payee, 0.80%. 40% of the swept tax. REBAL_PAYEE: The rest of the swept tax.

A buy and a sell both pay 3%, about 6% for the round trip.
The splitter keeps none of the sweep. Until the contracts are deployed, nothing is bought.
THE WEEK
A booked gain pays once.Nothing else pays.
One pass at the US close sells a weak name. The cost of what was sold buys the next name. Anything above that cost goes into the weekly pot.
Booked profit sits in one contract until the week is paid. A $1,000 week pays $600 to stakers, $200 to buy and burn REBAL, and $200 to the payee.
Of a week's booked profit
Line weight is the share
- Stakers, 60%. Stakes at least 7 days old. The rebate: Staked amount × lock weight.
- Buy and burn, 20%. REBAL, sent to a dead address. The burn: Bought on the curve, then burned.
- The payee, 20%. The same payee as the sweep. REBAL_PAYEE: A fifth of the booked week.

A sale at or below cost adds nothing. A price that is never sold never reaches the week.
A stake younger than seven days is out of that week.
How it works
- 01
Buy REBAL
A fresh coin on its own curve. A trade pays 3%, and 1.2% of every trade goes to the basket.
- 02
Stake it
Lock for at least seven days. A 28-day lock weighs four times a 7-day lock, in the rebate and in the vote.
- 03
Watch the read
Weekdays just after 15:00 ET the desk opens one browser, reads the book, and closes. Watch-only.
- 04
Take the week
When a sale books a gain, the week pays 60% to stakers, 20% to buy and burn REBAL, and 20% to the payee.
