Docs/Overview
A basket Opus picked, and a coin that pays when it sells.
REBAL is a coin on Robinhood Chain. Its fees buy a short book of stock tokens that Opus spent a week choosing. Stake REBAL for a share of what that book sells above cost, and for a vote on what it holds. The desk is where you watch the research happen.
Buy and stake
Buy REBAL on its curve and lock it for at least seven days. The stake is the rebate and the vote.
Watch the desk
Weekdays just after 15:00 ET the desk reads the book in one browser. Watch-only, no start button.
Vote the book
Bring a stock in, bin one out, or replace one. While the vault is empty, a vote rewrites the list.

01
The line
This is the sentence on the page, and the one the post points at.
We gave Opus one week to research and decide what to put in the basket. This is what it created.
Want access to that basket? Buy and stake REBAL. The stake is the rebate on what it sells. Staking is also the vote: bring a stock in, or bin one out.
The line can say rebate. The page pays one only after a week has profit to split.
02
Where it stands
The desk runs. The contracts are written and tested, and not deployed. Nothing is bought until REBAL launches and its fees reach the basket.
BUILT
The desk at /tape and the weekday clock

The splitter, the basket, the stake, the vote, the weekly pot and the burner

STILL AHEAD
Deploy the contracts and launch REBAL
The first buy, once fees reach the basket
The close pass that picks a weak name to sell
03
The book
About twelve names. Ten to fifteen is the band, and twelve is the working number. Each name has a reason: one sentence on why it is in.
- Stock tokens
- Active Robinhood Chain stock tokens. They are exposure on the chain, not the shares. The book starts with names that can actually quote.
- Why not all 194
- Equal ETH across 194 makes every leg dust, and one dead pool stops the whole pass. The 194 are the menu, checked when a name is written onto the list. They are not the buy.
- The opening list
- The one the line points at, written by Opus after a week of reading. After that, only a vote changes it.
- A nomination
- The model can put a name forward: one ticker, one sentence. It joins the book only after a vote.
04
The buy
The basket buys the current book, evenly. Waiting ETH is divided by the number of names, and each name is quoted for that same amount of ETH.
- WAITING ETHFrom the 1.2%
- SPLIT÷ the names
- QUOTESame ETH each
- CHECKEach ≥ 1 unit
- BUYAll, or none
If one quote returns zero, nothing is bought and the pass returns. Equal ETH is not an equal dollar size. The route is written and not deployed, so no buy runs today.
05
The sale
One pass at the US close is the sale. A name the read marks weak is sold. The cost of what was sold buys the next name, and anything above that cost goes into the weekly pot.
- Sold above cost
- The part above cost goes into the pot. On a $3,000 book, a sale that clears its cost by $100 puts $100 in the pot.
- Sold at or below cost
- Adds nothing to the week.
- Never sold
- A price that is never sold never reaches the week, however large the book gets.
- A session, not a day
- The US market is shut on the weekend, so the pass runs on sessions.
Only a name a vote has taken off the book can be sold. Nothing is held yet, so nothing has been sold.
06
Stake and lock
Buy REBAL and stake it. That stake is access to the basket: a share of the weekly rebate and the weight of your vote. The stake does not hand out the stock tokens.
| LOCK | WEIGHT | IN THE WEEK |
|---|---|---|
| 7 days | ×1 | Counts once it is seven days old. |
| 14 days | ×2 | Twice the share of the same bag at seven days. |
| 21 days | ×3 | Three times the share. |
| 28 days | ×4 | Four times the share. |
| Younger than 7 days | — | Out of that week. It counts from the next. |
Weight is the lock in days divided by seven. Your share of the stakers' 60% is the staked amount times that weight.
07
The vote
A vote brings a stock in, bins one out, or replaces one with another. The stake is the weight of the vote. Vote at /stake.
- Bring in
- Writes a name onto the next list. The next buy uses the new list.
- Bin out, vault empty
- Only rewrites the list.
- Bin out, name held
- Queues the name for sale. Its cost comes back to the basket and buys the next round of the book.
- Replace
- Swaps one name for another in the same place on the list. If the old name is held, its sale buys the new one in the same transaction, with what the old one cost. Anything above cost goes to the week.
- Passing
- A vote runs three days. It passes on more yes than no, with yes at least 10% of the weight counting when it opened.
- A name the route cannot trade
- Cannot be proposed. Every name on the list needs a Uniswap pool the route can use.
- Who writes the list
- A vote. Opus can nominate. It does not write the list on its own.
08
The rebate
Booked profit sits in REBAL_PROFIT until the week is paid. The week pays what is sitting there. It does not pay a price move.

The fee
A trade on the REBAL curve pays 3%. Pons keeps 1% for the life of the coin. The other 2% is the creator tax, which sits on the curve until it is swept. The sweep pays one fresh splitter that keeps none of it.

fee 3

More volume puts more into the basket. On $250,000 of volume the creator tax is $5,000 and the basket's share is $3,000. That buys the book. It is the cost, not yet a profit.

Contracts
REBAL uses fresh wallets, and every address is empty until it exists.
Robinhood Chain
Chain id 4663
rpc.mainnet.chain.robinhood.com
Each address is posted here when its contract is deployed. Until then, nothing on this page is an address to send to.
11
The desk
The desk is /tape. The top is the filings ticker. The center is one watch-only browser.
Weekdays, 15:00 ET
It opens just after 15:00 ET, reads the book, opens articles, and closes.
Watch-only
There is no start button. Stop shows only while a read is open.
From the publisher
A stored note comes from the publisher page. A search page is not a finished name.
12
Before you trade
REBAL can go to zero. Stock tokens are exposure on the chain, not the shares. A price move pays nothing, and a week pays only what a sale booked above cost. The read says what an article said. It does not check it, and it is not advice.
